Heh, that pdf calls it an "Odporny tablet"! Odd porn?

Anyway Nokia can call it anything they want. iPhone was already taken, too.

Getting creative here..... wait for it.....

Yes folks, its been proven that adding the letter i to the front of anything increases the coolness factor and selling factor by a non-rational imaginary number! Whoooo!

Well, finally a serious suggestion, right? Maybe, not. But there was the suggestion of "Mobile Internet Communicator (MIC). Maybe, an option for Nokia to use when throwing out the first device with Maemo 5 on it. Gotta read more in this thread...

I don't know the origin of Maemo. I took a guess that it was derived from the first two syllables of "My Mobile Computer".

Would you believe if I'd tell you that it was created by a random password generator? That's the word in Nokia and our story for the press.

As much I like the coolness factor of the "i", maybe Nokia has more joy in copying other things from competitors. Because the word "tablet" has unfortunately legacy written all over it and because we need redefine what devices on Maemo are for a larger consumer segment, I doubt that Nokia will use the term "tablet" anymore in the next device.

Seems like that we are going to recruit you for our line building exercise for the next Maemo-based device. No, seriously. That would be kind of embarassing, something that happened to Orange in Poland with the iPhone. Based on your past contributions, you are anyway on our list of lead users to get Maemo 5 in your hands before sales start, at least for loan to get your contribution working smoothly on Maemo 5 with the power of a OMAP3 processor...

PUMPC? Hmmm, I see some press/bloggers have fun with such an abreviation.
