More info, 13823672433 China.

Product may be available by Jan 15,2009 for approx US$380. Use Nokia N800 accessories, would NOT comment on maemo platform or Nokia software compatibility. Slightly bigger and heavier than N800, resolution 800X480, use 3G AND sim card (?)

Some difficulty in communication, this info may be for a different product

I'm from China ...

Might know a little bit about "ZhongYi"

a local new brand of mobile handsets in China mainland, and had successfully sold about 2.5M units of handsets last year.

It seems that they have been working with a local design house named "Woojoy" to promote the new MID product. hope to see what will happen in the near future.

I like how they do "BRAND" in the Nokia font.

why? it is just hildon-desktop, matchbox-window-manager (like maemo has) and python based app-launcher.

Edit: there is also flash-based laucher...
And discussion about clutter... but now, Mer uses hildon, so i don't want to screw Mer by installing UME/Ubuntu-MID/Ubuntu-Mobile...
