Why can't I get seqretary to launch using personal menu? It wont launch from xterm using /usr/bin/seqretary either...says segmentation error. Any Ideas?

Lanching it from Personal Launcher and that works great.

Munky261: beats me. Try reinstalling (apt-get install --reinstall seqretary). If that fails, try renaming the .seqretary directory to see if there's some problem there (this should never cause this because of the way files are stored, but try anyway). Failing that, install gdb, run under that and send me the ouput of "trace" after the SEGV.

I also had the old version of the applet turned off. After update it popped up with the icon and no need for a reboot.

In the week view I'd been using the click on day two title to move one day left click on day four title to move one day right. I notice now when I do that it opens the pop up the first time, but after that goes to the old method. That doesn't bother me, I'm used to it now.

Did I miss something in the update about number entry? I see it mentioned here. Is it to do with the keyboard, I normally use the screen?

BTW: I've tried every other calendar app for the n810. They're all gone now - this is my day to day calendar, and I've finally been able to put my palm on the shelf. Looking forward to being able to sync to back up my data. Thanks!

Ok, I renamed the directory the tried to start it, it did...in doing so it created a new .seqretary directory. Then I closed it and again, it wouldnt start. Then I deleted the .seqretary directory that was just created and It started again....worked a few times then again, it wont open. But , it will start if i delete the .seqretary directory, any ideas on why this is?

Ok, I seem to have found that after deleteing, it starts up fine until I change any options, after I change an option, then it will no longer start from personal menu but it starts fine from the regular application menu.

hmm, seems to not apply here. i just fired it up, changed the 24 hour clock setting, closed it down, and it would start again from personal menu...

Im thinkin it might be time for a reflash...not just cause of this, though it is extremely odd...Ive noticed that my statusbar update notifier doesnt seem to be working either, among a few other minor and seemingly unrelated annoyances.
