Hi Edward,
Thanks for your reply with the additional details.
I have escalated this matter to the relevant department to look into. Rest assured that you will be contacted at the soonest possible when any information is received.
Your kind patience and co-operation is truly appreciated, Edward. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Do you know you can now update your phone software at your own convenience?
Visit www.nokia.com.au/support to check if your phone model is supported and download the "Nokia Software Updater".
Kind regards,

I dunno. I translated that canned email as 'eh.. we'll look into it. Don't call us, we'll call you.' Doesn't mean they're not looking into it, but it just feels like an ingenuous canned response to tell you to just sit back and relax.
But anyhow, I think supposedly Freemantle will fix this (drink) on N8x0 models... no thanks to Nokia for fixing it, though, it falls to the community since they're not doing Freemantle themselves. No matter how you look at it, Nokia never made the N810 models compatible--they leave it to YOU to make it compatible.

i paid a lot of money for the speakers -why did nokia just come straight out and say -no compatiability
in fact i did not go to the nokia europe site but to all the review sites that are promoting the n810 and md-7w as being compatiable
