Guess not... Well that's *probably* the problem then...
I don't see any Koffice or dependencies in the App Manager or i would have installed from there. And i have the repos devel catalog enabled. I don't know why it doesn't show up. It shouldn't be a problem if i install it through App Manager or Xterminal as i have no problem install any other applications except Koffice. I did installed all the dependencies through Xterminal as well.

Thanks for response!

The format is MS PPS 2003, so it's not Presentation (PPT), just Show. Before I installed KOffice Viewer a file had icon with question mark (unknown file tpye), now it has Koffice's presentation icon, but it couldn't be opened.

I might be wrong but I think the package is called freoffice or maybe that's another KOffice based viewer?...

EDIT: Now I'm really confused:

freoffice - Office file viewer based on KOffice

Koffice - Office application suite

Kofficemaemo - Office application suite for maemo.

I tried installing kofficemaemo from a terminal with (after enabling -testing and -devel in HAM):
Code:
apt-get install kofficemaemo
apt-get clean
And I didn't see any icon for it either... So if that's what You (romanianusa) did I can confirm what You stated earlier...

I tried another PPS file and the result was the same. When I converted it to PPT then it could be opened, but not in the case of conversion into PPTX and PPSX formats.

Another thing, if I would like to open files within Viewer I don't see PPS and PPSX files (not on the list). Inside File manager PPSX file doesn't have Viewer's icon like PPS do.

EDIT: I converted them with MS Office 2010 beta

Now i can't see other programs i installed...damm koffice stupid program causing all these problems.

I think i know why it's not working...because the dependencies Libqt4-qt3support 4.5.3~git20090723-0maemo4+0m5 is NOT THERE and you can't download it...they removed it!! But then why the hell did they release it knowing you can't download this dependencies.

@DrWilken:
You need to install freoffice package to get the viewer / icon in the menu.
kofficemaemo is koffice library used by freoffice to render your page.

@romanianusa
You need to have latest release (PR1.1), which would update Qt packages for you.

Do I have to install these 3 packages to have office viewer in my n900? I had the documents to go but it expired.
