Thnx alot Ktchiu... I have already done that, but still no luckIf possible may I request you to give the full path where I can get the conversations in back up files. But as a workaround, i m using "glogarchive" which exports to CSV file but that gimme wat I am looking for. I need to get where I can export sms normally in other symbian OS version mobile.
Also, can someone assist me how to transfer music files (say mp3 files , ringtones, etc) through bluetooth??

You can try the N900 smsexporter from this thread.
Get the later versions if possible (not the plain v0.2).
Be careful when importing. Exporting should not be harmful. But you need to know how to use X Terminal to avoid breaking your device, or get someone who does (ie a Linux geek). :-)
