Has anything changed in pr1.2 with the tx boost?

I have an aux plug in my head unit, so just use that. But today was trying out the fm transmitter in my friends car. Then tried the tx booster and made absolutely no difference at all.

We even did a controlled test to check. His head unit shows the fm reception signal in bars. So I rebooted the phone, tried the fm transmitter. Noted the way it sounded and also the signal meter on his head unit. Then turned on the tx boost and kept the n900 in the same spot and no difference at all.

So was checking if maybe pr1.2 did something to break the tx boost?

For me the boost works fine, I can go even 2-3 meters from my car away and the signal stays on 107.X MHz just fine.
