Okay - the internal works, so the server's okay. The DNS resolves correctly for the external address. That leaves either a problem with the forwarding/firewalling at the router, or your ISP (or mobile provider) blocking access. Can you check any logs to see whether the router is actually getting a connection from the N900?

Please I will appreciate very much any help to configure UltraVNC in laptop, desktop and my n900. I am getting mad because I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. My email is mbelgrano@gmail.com.
The message is "Failed to connect to server"
My configuration is:
For Desktop:
Windows Vista
UltraVNC Server & Client
IP 192.168.1.101
For Laptop:
Windows XP
UltraVNC Server & Client
IP 192.168.1.102
Lan: Cablemodem + Linksys wifi Router + broadband
What I've tried at the moment in both computers is:
1) Disabled firewall
2) Established exemptions for ports TCP 5900, 5901, 5902
3) Opened ports in router configuration 5901 for desktop IP and 5902 for laptop IP
4) Forwared ports in Linksys router configuration: 5901 to 192.168.1.101 and 5902 to 192.168.1.102
5) Ping from both sides: ok
Scanned ports: only 5900 appears open
Please help me!!
Thanks!
Mariano

Did you set the router to forward 5901 & 5902 to 5900 on the PCs (or set the VNC servers to listen on different ports)?

Hi!
I don't know how to perform that action.
In my router (Port Range Forward) I forwarded the ports like this:
Applicacion | Start | End | Protocol | IP Address | Enable
vnc1 | 5901 | 5901 | TCP | 192.168.1.101 | Checked
vnc2 | 5902 | 5901 | TCP | 192.168.1.102 | Checked
is that ok?
