yeah i did...thanks any way i solved the problem now//
i uninstlled the mediaplayer and re-installed it again..now its working fine..thanks

the equilizer is good but makes the mplayer slow and it stops when your scrolling on songs and adjusting the eq..it also uses cpu too much around 75%

mine is using 50% and scrolling still very responsive. I have 1750 songs.

i too find performance compromized. every time i hit my top button to bring up the menu music playback pauses. i also find my battery consumption is up. it seems to be cpu intensive.

It's not just little but it's EXTREMELY cpu intensive.

Makes my cpu run at a constant 500mhz and mafw-dbus-wrapp alone uses 50% on average constantly.
Then you have pulseaudio using 10% as well so it's like 60% @ 500mhz for just mp3 playback.

That's just way too much imo. A $20 mp3 player is better than my $600 N900. Lovely.

Is there a way to just turn off or disable the EQ part without uninstalling it?

if you set the equaliser to flat, CPU Drops to 30%
