Yes, that's the error a couple of others (including me) have mentioned.
If you try the URL with a browser you'll see that the problem is that URL parameter. Without it it's possible to access the web interface.
So it might be possible to correct it by stripping the parameter from the URL of incoming requests but that only treats a symptom and doesn't guarantee that uRemote will work with the rest of that version of the web GUI.

hi, I've been trying to get this app working, but when I press force update, after a while, I get a message "socket operation timed out" Any help would be appreciated.

I'm also getting this error, not too sure how to get round it.
Apologies for the level of ignorance in this question but most people in this thread are showing their IPs as xx.xx.xx.xx (four sets of two digits) however the IP address returned for me from www.ip-adress.com/ is xx.xx.xx.xxx (3 digits at the end). Is this okay?
