Thanks Dunsurfin, good idea - exporting an Excel to pdf is the last hurdle to making my N900 a business replacement for my laptop when I'm out and about. Cool.

You could simply upload your Word docs to the site, and then receive the converted PDF via e-mail.

(NOTE: Don't do this if you are worried about the security of the document. Other option would be to VNC to your own PC to accomplish this)
I think OpenOffice can also do Print to PDF.

Or if you upload to Google Docs and do it from there too.

DataViz announced that currently they do not support Hebrew (This probably means they don't support Arabic either - Right to Left languages)
This is the answer posted on their forum
"This is not yet supported. I am unsure if or when this will be added. We do track our customer requests and would gladly add your feedback to the requested feature list:

linkhttp://www.dataviz.com/eforms/feedba...lfeedback.html

This list gets reviewed on a regular basis and helps us determine what kinds of enhancements are necessary to add to the product in the future."

I kno they support Hebrew on other platforms, so if anyone ho needs these languages bombards them with feature requests on the link above - we might get it.

So it seems you can copy and paste from one Word doc to another, but not from one spreadsheet to another (though you can from one tab to another within a single spreadsheet). I would like this feature to be implemented when working with spreadsheets. Sending feedback to DataViz as well.

Yes - you are right. OpenOffice on the N900 will export as PDF. Good suggestion!

Abiword - Opens ODF
Gnumeric - Opens XLS, ODS

No need to pay $30 when Open Source provides the same functionality.

Not when either of the apps only open and render half my documents properly let alone trying to edit them..

Rather pay than go tight with only 50% of working

Thanks to Puiradu I was able to install the demo. Runs pretty well apart from one huge problem - spellcheck is not available.

Looks like I am better off with Google Docs, OpenOffice or Abiword (when/if it arrives in Extras) until this fuction is added.
