The file is a torrent file, you have to download first with a torrent client.
If you refer to the video in the bottom of web page, the video is a youtube embedded file, you need the original URL to download with N800 VC.
To get the original URL click on the menu button situated in the bottom-right of video then click on the button URL and then on the button Copy to Clipboard, then paste the link in N800 Video Converter (Open URL).

Thanks. I know. But what happend was that I had that file before and converted it to MP4 for Playstation 3. Then deleted orginal AVI file. Now when started torrent download I was not sure if file was still at HD somewere.. When you start torrent download it makes it look that you have full file at your computer.. Well.. It was just torrent download file that I tryed convert first.

But after I finnish download is it possible convert xvid file for N800?

That's strange; Windows file manager shouldn't give you information about a torrent file, other than a bunch of empty fields.

There are several solutions available for converting video files for the N-IT, from perl scripts to Java applications.

Yes, is a avi and is compatible with N800 Video Converter.
If you go to this address (thanks to Google) you can paste the links to n800 video converter and convert directly the videos (tested) to N800 (press the 'Open URL' button).

Sorry, i don't know why.
I don't have problems (i write 'Not Supported' after a timeout of 15 seconds) maybe your connection need more than 15 seconds to get the link from this site.
Donwload first to your PC then convert (try with the smaller file, then with the bigger).

You can convert local files?
You have downloaded mplayer and mencoder? (if not, download first the version 0.8.1.0 http://xoomer.alice.it/sepaolo/n800v...n800vc0810.zip then the version 0.8.3.2 and overwrite the exe files).
In the next versions i will provide a full setup to simplify the process of installation.
