afaik, for WEP you should always be getting the HEX value of the key as the result, not the plaintext.

This is because different AP's handle the conversion from plaintext to actual key differently, so it cannot be reversed back to the plaintext from the decrypted HEX without using the same nonpublic method.

The HEX key will allow you to associate with the network, so the plaintext key isn't actually needed (even tho it would give more of an oomph value when demonstrating the vulnerability of WEP to someone).

Quite new to this level of application, in that I can see that potentially it could be dangerous to the phone more so perhaps than other apps just by the nature of its complexity.

What I would like to know if has anyone has any issues with this messing up their phone to an extent that they had to flash it, im very careful about the apps i put on my N900 as I never want to have to flash it.

But i really want this app

it can't damage your phone (well it's not more dangerous than any Nokia update I think), but you can end up in jail for using it in front of the wrong people...

First of all...... you did a great job!! honestly dude, awesome!! I cracked 3 different networks today, I got 100% success.
This is way nicer than wifislax and backtrack running on a laptop, Im impressed because it took me only 6 minutes and just 29000 IVS to crack the key.. thats ridiculous!!
Is not injecting at full speed for some reason, but is doing an amazing 150 packets per second.

The only problem i got is that for some reason some files disappeared from MyDocs directory.. and now the monitor mode no longer works, I think Ill flash the phone and see what happens..
The new icon is great, perhaps I can work on another icon for future releases, I use photoshop a quite often. =D
