Well, I am aiming to win a Nokia N9 instead of buying one. I have entered the Sweden Nokia - Test pilot a Nokia N9 competition and hope to finish in the top 30 by the 21st August 2011.

Please visit my Sweden Nokia N9 website and add a recommendation or comment as to why I should be one of the 30 lucky people to Test Pilot a Nokia N9.

lol, no, are you kidding?

It's a dead phone with a dead OS that will not receive any support, any third party apps.

N9 is literally a waste of money. I would not pay 100 euros for it, 50 maybe.

This phone is useless.

I like to buy the best so I'll be getting the iPhone or a Galaxy S.

I am not sure, what timescale would be enough for the waiting period. But for some of us, the screwing started way earlier somewhere along the line of Communicators N9500 or N9300i and there S80 being dumped.

I definitely wouldn't say N9 is an awesome device hence I would purchase one as a result. However I may most likely purchase one just to keep myself happy with meego developments (no, not interested in Nokia in any sense or form, much like my reasons with purchasing N900).

N9 without a proper QWERTY keyboard like its history of maemo devices which had one is as useful as <insert any Nokia Symbian crippled touchscreen device here>.

I really don't care if Nokia in the long run drops meego and disowns N9 like it did with maemo. The bottom line is that one cannot get a device that has a more fully featured linux based platform compared to the likes of Android, Bada, etc. One can spend days on end bashing meego, android, iphone, mango, etc, etc, etc but at the end of the day one still has to choose a device which obviously suits him/her the best. There's really no sense in all these rants about N9 being the last phone from Nokia when one is a real linux enthusiast. You buy it, you keep it and there's your memoir of happy moments with embedded linux developments. That's all there is to it.

this sentence makes absolutely ZERO sense.

your definition of hence may need updating in your internal dictionary.

I was going to say big YES initially,'but will wait for 4-6 weeks to see reviews from the first users. I will not accept a virtual keyboard that is not As good as iPhone, and email needs full provisioning support
