There's 20-odd countries it's in.....
There's no way anyone could know what the stock levels are like in every country.
Here in Australia it's still readily available...

Although it has been dropped by some telcos, & I imagine the rest will drop it in the coming wks/mths.
Especially since Nokia's started it's Lumia program here now, & is doing it's best to make them visible.
(not actually here yet, but is announced, & has been pushed quite hard for some time already)

But that doesn't mean the N9 won't continue to be available with retailers & specialist importers.
This was much the same situation for the N900 for a loooong time.
It will reduce the uptake of course, as more people buy phones on contract here than outright.
That's not the same for every country though.

When driving! really? I don't know where you live but here in the UK it's illegal to drive and text/phone people anyway and for a good reason! it's dangerous!

are you that important that you can't just pull over?

Yes.
And it's the same everywhere in the globe.

A major shipbuilder, Samsung, has provided some speedy jet boats via the Note and Galaxy II to play around with but one can still get a sinking feeling at times as android linux can be a letdown. Still others bravely cling on to the edge of a still bouyant N900, but their hands are getting cold and lifeless as they begin to loose grip and are swallowed into the vast cold sea of google devices.
Applause!
Very well written buddy.

i think the amazing everyday title suits better with N900 than Lumia phones. we can do anything with N900, use at as a remote controller, hack wifi networks, crack wifi passwords, run 4+ OS's and modify it the way you want. still many more things that you can't even think to do with Lumia phones.

THE AMAZING EVERYDAY-NOKIA N900

Yes, I got that, now.

However, they should. Probably they might soon too. Freedom comes with great responsibility... unfortunately, for some, it might be too late... or never !
