Just check... 4-5 (will be 7-9 soon) same names on every woody post. even when he calls his discussion partners stupid fan bois. Was the same in 'CSSU gone wrong' when few console people complained with actual sources/examples vs a ton of fanbois who loooved the portrait mode... go ahead and thank everyone on your political spectrum. I'd rather thank estel when he gives helpful hints/tips, than woody playing the wiki game. screw that

No need to travel. I am sure that you can find a lot of people to punch you nearby if you offend them. Try it.

I see... And what exactly did Estel do for the community? I'm asking in earnest here. To my knowledge he's produced one package, a recompile of TrueCrypt (version 1.7 as I recall, an upgrade from the 1.5 version was already in the repos). Everything else he's done has been primarily for his own benefit. Case mods, strictly for his own case. Building a CNC machine with community donations for his own use. And we've yet to see a single aluminum case...

Meanwhile, I've done very little, clearly. I've never helped anyone with an issue, because all my posts are political (actually, they're not...) I've only written a few scripts. Gotten a couple of small groups organized. Did some silly thing with bylaws so we could establish a legal entity (a pre-req for keeping things on past 1/2013). Oh, and funding a large chunk of that, out of my own pocket...

Yup... Go ahead and judge based on merit. I'm good with that.

It seems I should follow my own adice to woody.

BTW it seems you have NFC what thedead1440 have done (along with a guy with a nick I can't remember, no matter what , something with b...) for that community in the last couple of months.

Yeah I've been away for a few months (if that wasn't clear from my posts about avoiding the drama), a few new heroes arose (THX to the great xxx everhy day bumped), sadly heroes from old that I had actual interactions with got banned thanks to politics of new heroes, like I said screw that. If ever woody helps me, will thank him, currently he in his popularityy gaining is a posion.

rcolistet: I have a lot of respect for you(r contributions), seeing your thanks on woodyh post bashing all who didn't buy his version of events, calling them stupid fanbois... was disheartening at best. If you ever visit Warsaw, I'll buy you a drink, none given, none taken

I don't know who the other "heroes" who got banned are but I think one of your heroes is Estel?
Regarding his ban, I personally believe it was justified and TMO has been very tolerant over the matter.
There are valid points in the first post but this discussion has drifted far from the OP's objectives.
