Updated the universal Qi how-to thread to include a timed charge script by killing BME and modprobing bq2415x_charger waiting a set time and then pulling that module and starting BME, a .desktop file to activate it too. http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?p=1435654

Out of curiosity, why all that hassle instead of just ditching vanilla BME in favor of BME replacement?

Remember, that you can force things like dedicated charging from software, without things like shorting data 
(or force other things, like being connected via USB without charging at all - for example, when tethering GPRS to notebook, in which case, your N900 have more hours of battery life than client device) Very useful in such applications.

i am using wireless charging with the bme replacement and it works pretty good. however there is one very annoying behavior:
every once in a while (while charging) the device turns on with a message "disconnect charger from power supply to save energy".
i don't know why it happens or what it means, but is there a way to disable it?

Usually, it would mean that the battery is wholly charged? Not sure...
Or the charger's voltage is too low? Too slow charging?

Anyway, in your case, it would mean that something is fishy with connection. Or you experience drops of charging current.

i noticed that it happens usually when it is not placed right on the wireless charger - this might be the issue of lost connection.
but it also happens when the battery gets full, so when it gets to 100%, it drops a little then recharge and turn on again - anyway to avoid this turning on thing?
