1) Map
- A "route recalculate" button is added to the upper left in routing mode.
2) hildon-desktop & modest:
- Latest git version as expected.
- Live search now shows the word you typed immediately even if you are in a folder with large number of files.
- Gas-ball FPS is much higher. Could be h-d or driver update, though.
- For apps supporting portrait mode, the transition to portrait now feels snappier or should I say sure-footed.
- Email widget now shows mail count for Nokia Messaging, but it doesn't show title. This is a won't fix.
3) Microb (20100401-1.9.2-5.2+0m5/2.9.5-1.23+0m5):
- No "open link in background" option.
- In fullscreen mode, reflow keyboard shortcut still turn into auto focus on address instead.
- Feels better to use: loading page is faster and click is snappier.
4) PulseAudio (0.9.15-1maemo43+0m5)
- Seems to have less stuttering under heavy load.
5) Camera:
- No visible change in options.
- Auto focus speed seems to be a tad quicker.
- When front camera is used, say by Mirror, the indicator light turns red.
- Video still has frame-drop issue. I have it in both HQ and fine setting...
5) QT4.7: Some QT packages will need updating to work properly.
6) Dual boot: Errr... I don't know how to test this.
7) New sgx driver seems to be better as overall experience is smoother.
8) Some apps are broken due to dependency and version issue.
9) Flash is the same as PR1.2 at least on 36-2 build.
10) Because I am afraid of the potential backdoor built into the firmware, I am gonna flash back to PR1.2.... celluar works fine I heard.
11) Thanks for Nokian (engineers) working on PR1.3!

I thought that was by invitation only and only for developers? and i believe it has no graphics accelerator....am unsure if it has appeared in any of the devs though?

I don't get it (the flash 10.10 update).

We all know that Flash 10.1 exists for the N900 (check here), but wouldn't Nokia want to roll it out? :S

I wonder if the email-specialist actually knows any other information about PR1.3, because she seems to be informed about the situation.

Either way, guess we will have to wait till the actual PR1.3 update comes.

Email Specialist

Nokian definition:

"Individual(s) responsible for the replies sent to Nokia Device Users whom ask for any details on any device. The return emails contain no specific information, making it so they do not know anything until we want them to."

Sounds a bit evil to me.....?!!!!!!

What about other Nokian employees?

Brain Control Specialist

Nokian definition:

"Individual(s) responsible for the creation and implementation of the Brain Control Module (BCM) for the Maemo/Meego devices. The BCM allows the Nokians to control the NDU's (Nokia Device Users) and use them like puppets."

Apple Attack Division (A.A.D.)

"Individual(s) in charge of the attack on Apple using the NDU's that are controlled wirelessly using the Wifi and BCM in their Nokia Devices."

Just adding a 'me too' - Nokia have mentioned several unrelated 3rd party solutions to me as well - I do get the feeling that most N900 questions are actually dispatched to a different group of people than those responsible for the Symbian dartboard chosen form letters : )

For the most part they seem to be written by actual humans.

I'm no fanboy, though I haven't actually encountered anything to be disappointed by - yet - so it's all good.
