i'm faster than ssu

This is the newer application manager. i compiled it in my scratchbox against the newer diablo libs so no worries there.

I've included (kinda) the remove legal message mod.
This is version .5 of the remove legal message. This one only removes the message when installing from a repo, not when installing a local deb. (i've forgotten how to do it :/)

Advantages:
- newer app manager than stock diablo
- legal message fully gone

Todo:
- look into making app man resolve depends for local packages.

diablo only (compiled against diablo apt, dpkg)

You should rename it and package it as an alternative package manager. We could fix up the category view while we're at it.

Unfortunately, I cannot program, this is just a quick mod to it

I just posted it here because it's newer than the current hildon application manager and it has the legal message removed. I wish I could do more but I don't have the knowledge.

Don't get me wrong here I get the reason why, "because" (I'm "because"'s number one advocate!)
But is there other reason to upgrade to this, i.e. anything actually changed?
I should really get off my *** and get scratchbox installed

Well, if you check the changelog in svn you can see some bugs were fixed.

But I admit, not huge amounts changed but hey it's newer and it 1/2 has the legal message removed

Ok, softpoweroff *is* mostly fixed in diablo. I just tried it. Screen blanks, touchscreen is disabled, buttons too. Pressing power button will wake it up.

But, you have to hold power to get the menu to work and it insists on forcing offline mode, which i fixed by editing /etc/mce/mce.ini

Soft poweroff does not work here, no matter how I activate or deactivate it. Besides, it can't be fixed, as the version that has the fix (1.7.6) isn't in the current Diablo.
