MfE uses ActiveSync. So does Lotus Traveller. The only problem is, one can't set correct path (the servlet that does ActiveSync is at /lotus/traveller) on the client.

Suggestion: As there seems to be several non-Microsoft vendors that use ActiveSync how about drop the MfE name entirely and rename it as "ActiveSync" and make sure it can work with all?

That would end in far more satisfied users. I for one am majorly pissed off because I can't set the silly path, I am forced to use IMAP for mail and have no means of synchronizing my calendar

I don't have any concrete evidence but it's my feeling that exceeding a number of folders or mails makes modest (the mail application) behave like that.

In any case, I have the same behaviour also in an imap acount when a second imap acount works just fine.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but how is the software update going to be handled? Firmware update?

Dear all,

Saturday I got my new N900. I cannot get it synchronising with our corporate Exchange 2007 server. Where this was
working with my N96 (through Roadsync). And as there is no alternative, I would like to resolve this now. I cannot
really understand why I should contact our Corporate IT department (yes the device is non-standard). Also other Nokia devices (was it not the N71) work nicely.

Is there a way to make this work? Syncin' Mail/Calendar/Contacts is critical to me.

Regards,

Rob

I have the samen problem. Is there anybody that knows how to resolve this without having to change my companies policies? I understand it does work with a Nokia E71 and also Roadsync (on my current N96) works.

I emailed to nuevasync and they told me that it should work. Any idea why this is happening...?
Thanks,
Rob
