Yes it indeed very nice to see that this is a very active thread.. A new release is planned for the very near future, and it will mainly add support for automatic reconnect in case connection is lost (e.g., when using 3G, roaming between wifi / 3G connections etc.).

I could consider adding such a top hits function, it is not directly supported by the library, but it could be implemented by showing the tracks from a particular artist with the highest popularity values. Would this be an ok solution?

I'm learning new artists using Spotify. Is a feature like following possible

choose what to search
- artist
-track
-album

if artist is chosen as search criteria, matching albums would be listed based on year of release.

Now using Qspot daily, thank you

Top features I'm missing are Add [whatever is in the current playlist or album or track] to playlist, Remove from playlist and also Create playlist wouldn't be all wrong, but these aren't features I absolutely must have, but would be nice

Edit: I consider QSpot one of the best applications on N900. And the support and devotion shown by the developer is the best of any app here. Thanks for that. QSpot + fmtx absolutely makes Spotfy premium worth the money

Thanks a lot for the feedback.. Such a function can be added, and is on the todo list. I have considered a search view with a tab-based interface (separate tabs with returned tracks, albums and artists).

Yes, that would be nice If you longpress a track and go to browse artist you might be able to sort the tracks by pressing m button(popularity instead of years) browse artist view?

simulare to the search view.

Happy to hear that QSpot is well received, I am trying to continuously improve it.. Hopefully I will have another update this week. Playlist edit / creation functionality can hopefully be added at some point, I have already investigated adding them to the library.

The only feature I really really miss is track seeking

I think he means jumping to a certain point in a track.
