Try to uninstall it and re-install from filebox. This should install any extra dependencies.

Sorry for OT

Following this thread is really fun, but often it feels like watching a movie and the actors are doing something really stupid and you wanna shout to your TV "don't do that, it is so obvious what you have to do, so do that!"

but posting here feels like shouting to your TV most of the times

Edit: one example below...

Try to completely purge Wazapp:
Code:
devel-su
apt-get --purge autoremove wazapp
rm -rf /opt/waxmppplugin/
exit
rm -rf /home/user./wazapp/
Then install Cepi or Coderus build again via GUI (to fetch dependencies).

Just installed cepi's latest build according to the wiki. Upon doing so the app no longer opens, despite a clean install, including a deletion of the entire wazapp folder.

can soneone post a link to the latest working .deb here

Was wondering does the notifications solution only work with latest version of wazapp?And i don't quite understand the 10th step "delete the old renamed folders."What does that mean?

Edit : never mind i figured it out.It works!

I executed the app from console to get any clue and this is what iv got:
Code:
    RM696-21-3_PR_001:~$ /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp/wazapp
    /opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp/utilities.py:19: DeprecationWarning: the md5 module is deprecated; use hashlib instead
      import md5

      File "/opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp/ui.py", line 26, in <module>
        from waxmpp import WAXMPP
      File "/opt/waxmppplugin/bin/wazapp/waxmpp.py", line 48, in <module>
        from Context.Provider import *
    ImportError: No module named Context.Provider
i checked with apt-get and python-context.provider is installed.
I must say also this is a fresh install as i just reflashed the device.
The dependency tree was messed up buy a bad driven backup using n9QTewak. I reflashed and now lastest cepi's build works out of the box.
Thx for the help guys
