For anyone still having issues with contact synchronization, you may want to take a look at the (not very elegant) patch I attached to https://github.com/tgalal/wazapp/issues/127 a couple weeks back.

the costumer-version feels smoother ...
but own contact is not showing.
also "enter" is not set as "new line" (when enter not send a message)
emoji-dialog is great!!! cool animation while loading, more emojis each row!!
setting-dialog looks like better (is smaler)

In my opinion Wazapp is better than official app in android,
but.... :P
When selects emoticons on dialog are very small.
In the splashscreen, the progress bar is good choice but the text that's appears with contacts...etc it's a bad choice...
It's my opinion.

My issue with some contacts not wanting to sync was only related to how their numbers were saved in contacts.
I have to have +46 in front of the number which is my country code or the contacts won't sync. I just edited some numbers, synced again and now everyone is found.

Hi guys...
i have a thing ! LoL.. I,ve installed cepi,s version 0.8.11.8..
and wazapp won,t start it loads but won,t start..
i deleted the old version before installing the new one.. And remove home/user/.wazapp/.. But still no good results..
I also checked the wazapp wiki page and did a full database remove but once again nothing... What am i doing wrong ???
