I'm still curious if video streaming can be captured in real time by VLC so the output goes directly to the tablet and not the desktop.
I would think that would be one hairy monster of unhappiness to program though.

Sweet!
Looking forward to trying that suggestion when I get home tonight along with your latest version.
Hey, one more question.
Ever here of something like this?
http://gnome-look.org/content/show.p...?content=98762
Would that be possible under Knots?
I know you're always on the lookout for tremendously awesomenessively and gianourmously magnanimous suggestions from your flock of followers.

Nice idea, but maybe too much work for too little gain. First of all syncing text and music would be pretty much impossible because of streaming and different amount of buffering. Knots can't be 100 percent sure what the actual position is, it syncs the info from server from time to time, but client can be many seconds off.
And that particular app is written in python and Knots isn't. And besides, it's not so hard to follow the lyrics on screen.
If you want karaoke, Knots can do karoke. Just get the songs in cdg/mp3 format and scan them normally. VLC handles cdg nicely.

Is this already possible, maybe, some sort of playlist, and I'm just unaware of it? Anyway,I'm still very pleased that Knots will transcode those big pics for remote viewing - another victory for you, Ukki.
