Quick suggestion.

After sending a text message, could you have DC immediately refresh messages right afterwards?

If you have notifications on, it makes little sense to be notified 1 minute later that you sent a message, plus you have to manually refresh messages anyway to remove the blinking light.

Thanks epage!

Some other 'bug' or 'feature' I just wanted to get your thoughts on:

* When I type an SMS on my N810 using the hw keyboard in fullscreen mode the fullscreen toggle button cdoesnt work anymore
- also the directional keys on the dpad doesnt 'stay' within the edit window, pressing up too many times moves me up into the received sms list,
- also the edit window keeps changing from displaying 2 and 4 rows of text in what seems to be a random way (for long messages)

* it seems to forget my call-back number after a device reset.

Since this is the beginning of dev on 1.0.8 I highly recommend not upgrading to extras-devel for a while

Sounds reasonable, could you file an enhancement?

I'll play around with this and see what I can reproduce.

Expected behavior that I don't have control over.

Are you referring to the fact that when your message history + edit box is smaller than the window, the edit box does a fill screen?

I'm curious what behavior you would prefer, for it to fill the screen or have dead space?

I assume a reboot and not a complete wipe of the system? I'll look into it and get back to you on that.

Okay, just signed up for a Bugzilla account and submitted my first enhancement request.

Looks like I'm the only one who filed such a notification as a top, high priority and in getting this fixed under a Windows machine. *lol*

Sorry, on the next bug or feature request I submit, I'll try to tone it down a bit.

Feature Request:

Speed Dial

(I thought I had seen this or similar requested before but a quick thread search did not turn up anything...)

Add a Speed Dial Tab (or add to keypad)

Tab would contain 3x3 4x4 ? buttons and a Call Back # Over-ride toggle)

Each button would have the following parameters (stored locally)
Button Name
Phone number to call
Preferred callback number

Usage:
Open Speed Dial Tab (maybe make it selectable as the default on open)
Select one of the buttons
call is placed using preset callback number

Or
Open tab
Select over-ride & choose callback number
Select one of the buttons
call is placed using selected over-ride callback number

Anyway keep up the great work

Thanks
Matt

Sorry if this has been previously addressed. When I first start dialcentral on my N800, It seems to login fine, I can retrieve history and messages, but if I try to send an SMS, I get a login error at the bottom of the screen.
The only way to make it work is to close and reopen the application. simply re-logging in does not work.

So basically everytime I open dialcentral I have to close and reopen it or I cannot send SMSes.

Anyone else seeing that?

Could you report this on b.m.o with severity set to "Enhancement"? Its great to work out ideas here but I also don't want them lost with time.
