That update fixed loading of the playlists. Thanks a million!

I have been using my home Wifi, just tried 3G and I was able to login to Qspot...how strange!

Does it only work on 3G?

It should work equally on all connection types, so there iis some problem. It has been difficult to figure out as for myself QSpot works ok on both wifi and 3G. I will look into it.

I have now uploaded a new QSpot version (0.9.2-4) to extras-devel and the garage project page. This version introduces a change to the library related to login handling. Hopefully this should have some impact on the login problems some people have experienced over wifi.

Edit: In case there are still problems it would be useful in to get the output from xterminal when trying to login.

Like Zekahz already stated Qspot crashes now with Wifi when trying to login. Here is the terminal output:

run-standalone.sh ./opt/qspot/bin/qspot
> set_stream 'QSpot'
Num of active configs 1
Set active bearer: "WLAN"
Failed to lookup Spotify service in DNS
Segmentation fault

Ok, there is some bug introduced during the implementation change, will fix it as soon as possible. Anyway, the debug output identifies the problem cause; of some reason QSpot is not able to fetch the DNS service record for Spotify.

I have now fixed an issue with the previous library version that could have caused the segmentation fault when logging in over wlan (and DNS lookup fails). The new QSpot update (0.9.2-5) with the updated library dependency is now aviailable from extras-devel and project garage.
