I tried the remove battery for 10 minutes 'trick', while no icon shuffle since then the OS tethering didn't work when I got home, had to revert to tethering app and it worked ok. Still, the mobile data connection switching itself on is a CRITICAL bug, Jolla are endangering their customers into having to pay huge amounts of money if they happen to need to travel abroad with it as main device. This should not have happened. Hopefully the hwkb OH will arrive soon to lift my spirits a bit, the long wait for fixes with the evident bugginess somewhat killed my fanboism

Had 3 bugs one after another today, first mobile connection stopped working, airplaining it on/off caused a reboot (green led type) and after that had to play find waldo as all icons got shuffled. Worst of all, 2/3 of first page icons ended up on the last. Rearranging them one by one took quite a while. Might need to revert to 1.0.3.8 if this continues to happen. But fluidity is indeed improved
I had icon reshuffle on 1.0.3.8....

Definitely agree.

27 November was actually not that long ago - still not even 4 months - and look how far Jolla and the community have come.

Incidently, the X on closing is a different X than that shown when you long press on the covers to close multiple apps. Along with the glitchy corners on the covers, the UI changes in this release seem a bit rushed.

The previous X was just a red X, without taking into account the ambience, now it does and is more pronounced, if that makes it easier for newcomers, sure. Though with blue colour highlight/ambience it is still drowned in my opinion. Hopefully later on there will be an option to revert to the more minimalistic/background silica, not too big fan of the pronounced features myself (and quite a few threads on tjc about it). Eye candy is the least problem now really

Same here. Besides this annoying behavior, battery drains too fast and doesn't show accurate data (woke this morning with 70% and, after some surfing, dropped to 4%). Two random shutdowns, something that never happened before. A "device is getting hot" warning (new too). Bad update for me.

Now I think it's time to go with promise of launcher to android and later Sailfish for nexus. According to jolla it's so easy to get it up and running on different hw. Bring it on!

why? i would love to see the most annoying bugs fixed and missing features added, before they concentrate on such unimportant things as an android launcher.

The launcher is unimportant, yes. Buy jolla said it would be released before the real deal. So while I don't want to use the launcher I would see it one step closer to Sailfish for android alpha release.

Woke up this morning to find that my wifi didn't work - Jolla couldn't find ANY wifi. My netbook worked fine.
After reboot it has connected again - but my icons were distributed randomly.
This keeps getting better and better -.-
