BTW, not to say that Eldar is not a dorkbut all these 92 N9s stuff is silly. You just probably don't know that in Russia (and not only here) both comma AND dot can be used as delimiter.

Yeah sure, but you could spin it an entirely different way.
Where there's negatives, there's still plenty of positives, both hw & sw.
Been over all this territory before, so will let someone else step-in if they want.
Really too tired of us repeating the same things...

Just one example of Maemo really standing out from the crowd was:
- Touch anywhere to go back. Simple yet brilliant concept. No need for a hard key to do this. Every new device android/BB release has one but wasnt necessary in the N900. Apple/WebOS have on screen 'back' keys which are usually at the top left - out of reach and requires one to flex and stretch the hand. Wasting time and it takes effort.

<SNIP>There are obvious advantages to having more then less. If one is to go with the thesis that 'less is more' then i would have to respectfully disagree

I have a kinda dumb/noob question
Why didn't Nokia just continue improving Maemo as opposed to combining with Moblin to get Meego? Couldn't they just keep pushing QT and Maemo development improving where the shortcomings were? That would've cut development time wouldn't it? Maemo wasn't good enough or somethin?

How to ask questions the smart way
He who smiles in a crisis has found someone to blame.
Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.
