I can't seem to get the Coderus brightness bar (hacky-brightness applet) to change colors. I have tried doing it through GConfik and tweak T-3-3 (even though I have hacky-brightness with MAG's unrestricted-ui). The values are shown as changed in GConfik, but the color is still the default green. Reboot and refresh don't help.

Hmm, I've get violet slider as default with CODeRUS's unrestricted-ui. Try to hold your finger on slider.

You can turn off red light temporarily You should install CODeRUS's unrestricted system-ui with system-ui-widgets 1.0.7, then long pressing on the flashlight-icon (till red line will appear), then open your camera-app in video-mode and push flashlight-button. You'll see instant short flash... But then you can use your camera without red-light during video-recording. Some screens below.

How does network speed work? I have enabled it but it doesn't seem to work on my 2G connection

Have you choose gprs0 interface? Choose it and refresh your statusbar

Ok so with your answers, I have done some research.

What do these 2 options mean

Is it possible to display network speed whatever the connection?
