I think you need to start over with a full flash of main and emmc then follow up with a cmt only flash to fix the sim error.
since your phone was not original chinese? any firmware should of worked unless the indian f/w has a lock. I would try to avoid using the chinese because it may restrict your options going forward. what was the problem w/ the original firmware?
have you ruled out any sim card or network frequency problems?
My N9 is running great.

Glad to see that your issue is resolved.
I have already done full flash of main(original/indian/german) product code followed by emmc. Actually only german main fw flashes now as it is highest 009, but it throws up error for cmt.
So I do chinese main cmt flash after this. This allows me to use phone(50% times I get SIM error). This is some improvement.
Something is better than nothing. Original fw didnt have any problem but I wanted to make it same as indian mmc and I flashed with that combo many times , never had any issue until I sold it. The guy whom I sold it had issues(I dont know what he exactly did).
He returned phone to me.
I have ruled out any SIM card or network related issue by trying different SIM cards and various locations , other phones.
Also since I get SIM card error and phone doesnt show IMEI means it has nothing to do with network and SIM.

sounds like your problem is now only with the CMT side of the ph.
have you tried the orig central europe CMT only flash?
if no luck, maybe a different prod code from central europe?

Yes, I tried original(central europe), german, north europe, indian, generic, australian and no use.
Downloading these huge files(>1GB) takes time and money.
So I am not doing it now.
May be if anyone who worked in Nokia N9 team can read and guide me, that will be great.
btw , today phone worked for almost 8 hours without any issue and then started problem.
