1) Copy your desktop file into /home/user/.local/share/applications and rename it to quicklaunchbar4.desktop

2) Open /home/user/.config/meegotouchhome-nokia/launcherbuttons.data and add your quicklaunchbar4

quicklaunchbar0.desktop=quicklaunchbar/0 quicklaunchbar1.desktop=quicklaunchbar/1 
quicklaunchbar2.desktop=quicklaunchbar/2 
quicklaunchbar3.desktop=quicklaunchbar/3 
quicklaunchbar4.desktop=quicklaunchbar/4
3) Open /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/meegotouchhome/style/meegotouchhome.css, find there
Code:
QuickLaunchBarStyle {}
button-count: 4;
Change button-count to 5. Then edit other parameters (howto - in my 5-apps example).

And finally

Code:
/sbin/initctl restart xsession/mthome

Thanks; I had missed out on editing the buttons count hence my issue...

I tried to restore all tweaks I have made this week, but didnt help. I also tried to put those commands as root but didnt help. My sensor isn't broken because I can still take screen pics

Also option to remove quicklaunchbar?
I've never learned to use it and sometimes irritating when it accidentally comes up.

Easy. Open /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/meegotouchhome/style/meegotouchhome.css, find there:

QuickLaunchBarStyle
And do this thing:

minimum-size: 0mm 0mm;
preferred-size: 0mm 0mm;
maximum-size: 0mm 0mm;
Save the file and

Code:
/sbin/initctl restart xsession/mthome
Here it is - your quickbar will not appear anymore

Thanks, but it only remove buttons/icons. There is still empty bar.

I added this to
/usr/share/themes/sepiatp139/meegotouch/meegotouchhome/style/meegotouchhome.css

QuickLaunchBarStyle {
    minimum-size: 0mm 0mm;
    preferred-size: 0mm 0mm;
    maximum-size: 0mm 0mm;
}
Also change these to:
/usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/libmeegotouchhome/style/libmeegotouchhome-default.css
