You also can change only this:

And you will get the empty/transparent bar...
Problem with this is when you move your finger like you do when you open quick-bar -> it can stuck in the same position like orig quick-bar, to release it you need to touch on the right/left side of the screen.
Tried also different variation, always same result.. That mean a simple way to remove bar like I said true/false
