I also got the notification but wasn't able to find detailed changelog.
I'd like to know if the MS exchange bug was fixed.

edit: this one https://together.jolla.com/question/...-11928-update/

can confirm! Uuuupppppdating
Early Access 1.1.9.30. Still called Eineheminlampi.
Btrfs balance is proposed by installer.

EDIT, All went fine with 1.1.9.30. Had all patches disabled and rebooted before update.
Waiting for 2.0 or try "ssu release 2.0.0.0"... Thats the question :P

EDIT2 IT IS HERE, announced by normal installer! 2.0.0.10!
320 MB, updating again!

I'm a little confused - it proposed a balance, but then didn't appear to do anything, allowing me to download / install the update in a matter of minutes.

This could be because my file system has never got anywhere near full and didn't need balancing, or it could be a sign that something went wrong...

I suppose I could try and balance manually, but just wondering if the same thing happened to anyone else?

Should not be a problem. I guess the "btrfs-balancer allocation" found more free space than 13153337344 bytes and just skipped balance?
Your estimate on your usage pattern underlines the assumption of "no balance" necessary.
Mine went literally in seconds. I know heavy moving of podcast files recently "disturbed" the silence of my btrfs, so i was expecting balance and would have done allocation check manually if not proposed by installer
