Something tells me that Android gaming is about to explode. Which is great, as I am about to buy a Tab .

Think about it: With the advent of Google TV, android may find its way into millions of households, and provide hard competition for traditional gaming systems. Games will be downloadable from the marketplace, and enjoyed just as normal console games are enjoyed.

But the beauty of Android is platform agnosticism, which implies that all devices (phones, tablets, TVs, computers, etc) will have the same access to these games!

There are many more companies that are producing Android games due to the large adoption of Android phones and the coming wave of android tablets (ala the high profile Tab). However this is only the beginning as Google TV will increase the number of android devices substantially.

Thoughts?

Please throw me a few lines about changing the user agent, I want to see whether nitdroid (Nexus One) can do it. Is that the thing that allows one to fake the id into iphone/uk browser? TIA,

Here's a nice video showing off the camera. Apparently it's a low light situation (but it looks pretty bright outside -- could be the camera), but the quality is pretty good! Check it out:

Here's video showing 1080p playback on the device:

Many files work, but apparently H.264 videos multi-channel soundtracks (more than 2) do not play sound!

Still, it looks really nice.

Here's a video showing the crap-tacular BlackBoard for the Tab:

It's interesting, but this shows the potential of devices like the Tab/iPad as teaching aids in the classroom (college/uni).

Here's a neat video showing the Tab as an aid for doctors:

It shows information about drugs and their various interactions!

He's SGS can't make call or can't reply to a call, even send SMS also imposible due to his unresponsive SGS until today,..getting frustated with his SGS now.

Now I think it's not just N900 which has same kind of problem (as reported by few users here),..

Screenshoot of an Android refuse to served as it should be attached!

It requires a hard reset.

Simply go to keypad and type *2767*3855#

It will reset everything and hopefully work like it should

Good news for everyone who thought the £599 UK pricing was a bit steep. According to Engadget Carphone Warehouse are asking £530 for pre-orders.

I think I'll hold off a bit longer to see if a price war breaks out.

Ha ha was just about to post that but you beat me to it.

Still far far far too expensive if you ask me. Will definitely to see what else is available.

And what is up with that talk mobile data plan in the advert? £10 a month for only 1gb? I am paying that for unlimited with 02 for my N900. I am guessing that 1gb on a device like the Tab won't even be enough for half a month unless you effectively just use it as a wifi tab (in which case just wait for the cheaper wifi only version).

Looks really nice and tempting. This is just what I need as I watch alot of videos on my N900 (sports clips, music videos, britain's got talent and other tv shows, etc). N900 screen is far too small for proper enjoyment of videos on the go and videos stutter quite a bit on N900 for first few seconds. Which can be annoying if you are watching a 10 second 100m race.

Just wish Samsung had not priced this thing out of my hands.
