Who has it? Has anyone on this forum spent 24 hours with NOKIA N9?

With all these people talking so much about the N9 without having ever touched it, this thread sometimes feels like teenagers talking about sex.

@bigbadguber!

Latest posts in this thread seem to indicate MFE's working much better now on the N950 since the beta2 update
http://forum.meego.com/showthread.php?t=3793&page=2
Hopefully even better on the latest N9 builds... You might want to subscribe to that thread...

I'm going to repost from another thread, since it's directly relevant...

...and yet, it doesn't? It may be a virtual machine, but it seems like that's sort of the whole design paradigm in Android and everything is optimized and only getting faster and faster to support that from the hardware/processor on up to the applications. I'm not sure where you've been, but I've seen some incredibly fluid applications for everything from video editing to video games to--get this, even MEGADEMO scene type stuff. Sure, it's a virtual machine based operating system but despite your word for it, there's plenty of reviews and video out there that seems to disagree with the assertion you're attempting to make that virtual machine code runs slow. (i.e. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWTTVr0lvmo or http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tvKGGYfM-Dg or any number of other demos of people running pretty buttery smooth stuff on devices that are as much as a year old sometimes--by the by, that last one takes virtualization a step farther by emulating the Tegra chipset graphics on non-Tegra devices... so.. there's that, too.) Have you even used an Android device lately?

That is the voice I read your message in... found it more tolerable that way too.

Holy crap!
http://www.meegoexperts.com/2011/09/...id-apps-meego/

Don't think they intend to support Harmattan though
Think it's quite diff to AD too, in that it doesn't try to make the Android app look like it's native.
Haven't look very closely into it yet, not time right now, never heard of these guys before!

*EDIT*
Look at the response to questions in the comments

What about N9?
Hakki working on it….
W000000t!!!! I just jizzed in my pants!

*EDIT 2*
Slightly more flaccid, 3rd-party Android stores only
