You can try to email the seller, earlier in the thread someone did and got free shipping.

Google shows me this site, but I have not tried it:

Ordered one. Only 4.61€ and free shipping, sounds like scam, but maybe I'll get lucky

I ve almost one week that my N900 is using the scud battery. I noticed a big difference, maybe 20% plus lifetime, considering that my stock nokia battery is over 1,5 year old.

Thank you dr_frost_dk. Great job

if you are still looking at batteries to test, I would be interested to see the testing of these guys:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2X-BL-5J-...item35aa7637ef

I bought these and have them in a dual-battery. Apparent rating of 1320mah, on the metal of the battery cell it says 1200mah. But I also have dual-japods (the 1350mah), and it may be placebo, but the 1200mah's in dual seem to last longer than the japods in dual. And considering that deal comes with a desktop charger too, its not a bad value proposition.

Hey, i got nothing against non-destructive. In fact, i considered to do my final mod non destructive also, but i like to have option of external charging NOT occupying USB port at the same time, to 4.23 V. Also, maybe You guys don't realize it, but using external charging like dr_frost proposed make Your N900 run using exclusive external power - You battery can even be placebo paper copy When cables are soldered somewhere BEFORE N900 pins, like most of us will do it (i prefer to solder next to cell, going around protecting PCB - i like protection , but this may prevent me from charging to 4.23V), N900 literally sucks power from charger + charger is also charging battery..

This is another feature we wanted so much next to hotswapping on high load - the only 1 drawback is that You cant do it with normal 5V charger, You must have one dedicated for Li-Ions. Carrying around massive RC charger might be not best idea, but modifying quasi-AA size Li-ION charger to charge our battery definitely IS both cheap and effective. You can not even merge it with car charger - i plan to do it just soldering cable and plug that i have lying around.

In fact, at this point You can stop carrying N900 stock charger, unless You modify it and use as lightweight, high-efficiency power source for powered Hub and HEN - like i did.

Did you read the Q&A, no you did not.......

Have been through this many times, the 5800XL wont work in our N900 because the pins are facing the wrong way.
Only way to use that battery is to mod it, but then you can just as well build a dual battery.

Goto to the Q&A, don't post "why" just check it out.

If the text 1200mAh is printed on the metal under the "tape" then the battery is 1200mAh no need to test, they cannot put fake label on the battery.
If your dual japod is worse then there is something wrong with the setup or you have gotten some fake japods....

Future tests are targeted at battery's that has the same capacity as scud or in that area.
I can test those battery's if you "donate" them or something, PM for more info
