Yes. I just wonder why he did not opt for ballooning; Using hot-hydrogen ballz he'd got much higher, surely high enough to dosprove his theory...?

Because he was a flat-earther perhaps? Not something I’d associate with well thought out plans and procedures.

I suspect you are correct there.

However the fact that this guy was able to really build a steam-powered rocket that actually rose off the ground is enough to give him some credit. I think the odds of blowing up the whole installation are much higher than getting it to fly up to height of half a kilometer in one piece!

Yes I needed a refresher on the n900 wiki and a few posts elsewhere..
Then I got distracted with GTKgep on my n900..hooked up to one of my harp's pickups.. Then out to a new amp I got...

I looked it up. They spelled the name wrong. It's Browne. But the date is correct. The book is called "End of Days: Predictions and Prophecies about the End of the World".

It is proof that when you shoot one bullet, you may miss. But when you shoot a million, at least one is bound to hit. Those who want to believe will ignore the 999,999 bullets that missed, like the passage just above the circled one.
