Hi, harp! Third one is quite funny oddball

I just finished mine first concept about
"Mad Orange... iEat Apples!"

http://www.flickr.com/photos/creativetone/

Original image dimension is 2070 x 1294 pixels,
but canvas size was over 4608 x 2816 pixels.
I have used lot of Layers with this.

Nokia N900 was overclocked to 1,15 GHz but there is a bit problems,
because of limited memory of N900.
But when using example 1 or 2, layers it is not a such a problem I think.

Thanks!, Miss Foxy8686, Dak and others..

Yes, I have heard about renderosity.com but I have never stopped here.. maybe because renderosity site looks so confused.. to me.
And I do not like so much 3D works either, even if I am studying 3D/Technical visualisation right now and I have done 3D modeling quite a lot

...MyPaint showcase sounds good to me..
I try to do some more youtube videos about MyPaint for N900..
But I do not know what I should show.. maybe just what interests me
most about MyPaint and how I achieves different effects... like watercolors, different textures.. using layers, I do not know.

I'm not quite so shocked by the content you produce as I am shocked by how much polish you guys put into your work. I just have vague themes to get started, the more I look into it, the more I learn about it. Drawing is just a hobby for me, I was never any good at it and I never tried to get good at it until I got my Nintendo DS and colors. I guess you could say that I'm an amateur hobbyist who's looking enhance my skills over time.

As I said in my first post, I had no doubt that you guys would blow my pants off, but I didn't expect your work to be so polished and complete. I often get too bored of the activity before I get anywhere near the halfway mark. Which is why my stuff is usually blurry and sparse.

Can someone of the creative heads here (awesome drawings!) do a time lapse video of drawing such a picture on the N900? I'd be very interested in seeing how it all comes together and might also serve as tutorial

Hi, harp!
I usually try too much to polish my works.. and it is not so good.
Because eventually it destroys whole image.

I have learned first techniques how to draw, paint in different mediums. This is maybe bit wrong way.. But it is always interests me
most. I have always wanted to try different mediums..

Traditional ink, graphite pencils, watercolours, (water) colour pencils, gouache, felt pens... etc.

And now I am almost entirely Digital Paint world.. BUT I want to
find out how I can emulate these traditional mediums.. and lots of more.

Right now I am very busy, and I am into
ArtRage Studio Pro,
SketchBook Pro,
Adobe Photoshop 7,
Painter 7,
Easy Paint Tool SAI, and of course
MyPaint 0.8.2

All those programs are different and it is very interesting to explore those abilities. You can do so much with basic brushes ... like MyPaint (only) dabs.. watercolor, graphite, ink and lot of those are possible.. only difference is that you have to do things little different way than in "real world"

I am not so good to do entire paintings at real time video..
but let's see..

but I will promise that something new is coming
from me and MyPaint 0.8.2 for Nokia N900.
