there is one feature of the n900 that would keep me from buying..I don't want a PDA/PHONE combination..

so far no one has made one to mil spec..I finally have a phone that survives my daily life..the Gz-one. is it possible to make a PDA that will live to mil spec? not likely..

Today I just got my N810..SWEET..a real OS in a handheld device..and talks Linux..even better

I don't need the full picture. There is one single item in the specs that will keep me from buying it as a phone:

Weight: 180g

I wasn't saying that some specs can't keep you from being personally interested in a device, just that certain conclusions should be avoided (e.g. about ergonomics, feasibility of particular use cases, or deducting unannounced specifics about the hardware).
