Thoughts on squircled icons? They look a bit iOS 7 ish, forged with nokia. Its a bit odd imho. They are low quality and look odd because of forum image compression

Looks too much like iOS if you ask me (esp. the browser icon )

I'd go for something slightly more edgy,
kinda like blackberry os 10 or something...

imho their ui is kind of a rip off of harmattan anyway xD

I'll make an icon ...

I think you are trying to decrease the level of "squircleness" but since you use straight edges it looks exactly like an ios design. If you could eliminate straight edges it will be more like Harmattan-ish.

I think we should use the original squircle!

It works together nicely with spinner indicators...

Totally agree with this, the original squircles look perfect and match most of the OS

FYI I pushed a vector graphics template (both .ai and .svg file) for those who work with illustrator rather than PS

Awesome. Fun fact. That is the original squircle template Maybe the gradients need to be lighter. I do think bb10 is a bit too edgy though.
