Hey I have been reading this thread, and as the post above me says, I think I need a new kernel to get this to work. Is this true? And what are the downsides? I know I will lose all installed apps, this isn't a problem! Is the Kernel that you need a standard one? The main site that tells you how to do this is good, but still lacks some basic things I think for the more basic user who is learning! Props to the developer though

What about pairing a 360 controller to the N900? Would that work?

I dont know if you need a new kernel or not it acts like its installing a new kernel but it dosnt uninstall any apps and my version number is the same.

no.
not bluetooth, requires USB, which N900 doesn't support.

hey guys,

ive been to almost every forum, ive done everything need to do, ive d/l sixaxis and ive manged to get my PS3 controller to pair with my n900 but it gets stuck... its says
"Accept connection with Playstation3 controller"

i accept and it asked another x5 times. ive read in other forums that u need to either add or disable "input" through X terminal using the command: /etc/bluetooth/main.conf but everytime i enter the command in it comes up:
Permission Denied !!! grr anyone no how to resolve this!!!

and yes i have rootsh and its says the same thing....
