I would love to see a good phone from TRI running SFOS , but looks like they are only in the SF (Since-Fiction) part ...

The key word there is 'If', hell if they can pull off even half of what they're proposing here then it will be a very cool device worth what they're asking.

But right now it seems oriented towards maximum hype and news coverage rather than something they could actually build.

Um... isn't that just the original Turing phone? That's nothing new.

But in a way, isn't for example an iPhone 6 a prototype for iPhone 7?

I wonder if the guy in the video has been lied to about it being the proto or if he just has not understood that that model is sort of proto for the first Turing phone.

Actually, It looks like a different youtube user has reposted the video called "Turing Phone Start up tutorial 1"

You know this MacArthur Genius award winner, one of the co-inventors of the water computer almost got it right. The Turing phone designers were way ahead of this as they use liquid metal instead of water...
