The i8910 was overclocked by the most respected modder of that scene to 1250MHz on A8 and has 256mb ram. It was never released though:

I don't think you will be the one to "save" Nokia then The N8, E7, C6-01 and C7-00 will do that. Take a look at them. Good old Nokia is back for sure And these phones have 20+ days standby time and 12+ hours continuous talk time. No Linux device will ever be able to do this.

The E7 sure looks nice, the new "communicator". And it's here soon.

Has anyone seen this with the n8:

Uses camera to 'turn your TV into a pseudo touch screen'.

Yeah, saw that, pretty nifty.

Another cool example on N8 that I noticed was the
Nokia N8: The World’s Smallest Stop Motion Animation Character Film

Hopefully the S3/Qt app development picks up speed so we will benefit on the N900 (or at least on Meego) as well.
Interesting times for sure.

We had some discussion about Nokia's situation at work, and one guy pointed out that the amount of liquid assets may actually be a problem when combined with the current low stock price, as it makes the company a subject for buyout.

Anyone got $40bn for some weekend tech company shopping?

A person with 1 million may choose to spend 100,000 of it on a car. If that person had only 150,000 he may still choose to spend 100,000 on a car but it is much less likely (and actually quite foolish).

That is the point I have always been making. If you do not consider that logical then you do not know what logic is.

I couldn't help it. With a topic like this, how can anyone say anything remotely serious?

Can I interest you in a MAPI meal?
