I have come up with a fix for using gmail and the iphone user-agent string on the N8x0:
I use privoxy for my ad blocking on my N800. So I simply setup a filter in privoxy to change the screen resolution.
Step 1. edit /etc/privoxy/default.filter and add the following lines:
Step 2. edit /etc/privoxy/default.action and add the following lines:
Now, simply restart privoxy (or reboot your NIT) and make sure it is setup to use privoxy at its proxy.
No I can use the iPhone version of gmail at full screen :-)
