You *can* be invisible. That's why there's the invisible status. If Pidgin can do it, the tablet should be able to do it too.

And honestly, if you're always on your IM programs as invisible, I think you're missing the whole point of IM anyways.

I initially reported that my MSN contacts weren't imported, but they finally did appear. One thing that may have initiated this was Quitting and Restating the Chat app.

Also, my Application Manager is working just fine.

Good luck!

I installed this thing, and it worked like a charm. My MSN contacts showed up instantly, but the images of the contacts took several rounds of Quitting and Restarting the Chat program to come up. Overall, this IM update is fabulous. Now, The IM, modest and vagalume have become my most favorite programs on N800.

You might have to reboot after installing.

Isn't the purpose of IM to secretly spy on others?

Is anyone else interested in using the tablet as a speakerphone with the (non-Gizmo) SIP client? I'm so tired of hunting around for my earphones when I get a call!

Please vote for my bug if you care

That is probably a problem on your end. I use my tablet as a speakerphone with SIP perfectly fine and have been doing so for about a year.
