Krisse, I just rec'd the N800 and encountered the same problem as you (the screen looks to be covered by a protective film, which looks like it could function as a screen protector except for placement of stickers). In shopping at my local big box electronic store, I noticed screen protectors for Sony PSP. Maybe these PSP screen protectors can be used on N800/N810 ?

I used a dab of Formula 409 on a paper towel and started rubbing the silver crap until it all disappeared.

Screen protector is safe and protecting!

LMFAO, the OP is epic and the rant is legendary. Good laugh, now be serious. Do you really expect them to buy you a screen protector? Your stylus is not a damn punch so don't treat your screen like paper going into a punch machine and it wouldn't get scratched?

Edit: and I believe those "Screen Protectors" that come for shipping protection aren't static proof. Not a good idear to leave them on
