Ha! We geeks and nerds run everything from your local comic shop to your major computer stores and software outlets so yes....I'm proud to be a geek. Besides, my Marvel stock just went up and will keep increasing as long as their movies do well. I'm glad they have their own film devision now and are producing their own movies. The "House of Ideas" is rocking the big screen. On another note, Edward Norton as Bruce Banner is great. Keep your eyes peeled for hidden references and possible cameos aside from Tony Stark as they begin building the Marvel Universe on film. Remember, there are the Wolverine, Punisher, Captain America, Thor (possible intro in Iron Man sequel 2010), Iron Fist, Luke Cage and of course The Avengers movies. Some are in post-production and some are being scripted as we speak. Marvel may also be rebooting Spiderman and the X-Men.
I know you all saw the Nokia N810 in the "Fantastic Four- Rise of the Silver Surfer" that Reed Richards carries right? Crappy movie, great gadget!!!
Anyway, here's an Iron Man/Spiderman team-up in great CGI to tide you over till the next film Texrat.
Enjoy, Reaver

Thanks for that clip, Reaver-- where is it from?

Oh, and a little quibble: Reed Richards uses a 770, not the N810.

Finally, Marvel's "stupid movie for stupid people" definitely helped your stock: http://www.marketwatch.com/news/stor...D&siteid=yhoof

Thanks Texrat, my mistake. I have the N800 so I thought it was the later model. Not sure where the clip is from. A friend at Marvel told be about it not long ago. It almost looks like it could have been a promo from the now canceled Marvel MMO game. It looks too expensive to be a TV show pre-air.

At the end it says somthing along the lines of "go buy Marvel comics" so perhaps it's simply a push for that.

Has anyone bought the special DVD from Target? Is it worth it?

Does that mean it's been released in the US already? We have to wait until 27/10 for the DVD here in the UK

http://www.republiquelibre.org/cousture/bd/IRNMN4C.HTM

then there is this:
http://en.marveldatabase.com/Anthony_Stark_(Earth-616)

none hold a complete number for number breakdown of each armor tho...

I saw Iron Man on the plane home from Berlin. I've never read the comics, so maybe I would be more of a cheerleader if I had some history, but I unfortunately fall into the "It's OK" camp. I guess the problem is that he's supposed to be a Batman-type superhero, a smart guy with cool gadgets instead of magic powers, but his cool gadgets end up being magical, since any time they show technology related to the suit or its development, it is all technology that not only doesn't exist (3-d holographic CAD? fully-developed AI?), but in the case of the power source, bends the laws of physics...

Its an alternate universe. So those things are possible. Don't you love loopholes?
The comic is even more "unbelievable". The later suits are composed of nanoparticles that are stored in his bones, so they come out and form a suit when he needs it. The original suits could fit into suitcases as well. But its awesome!
