As I am really likeing the full screen sans the toolbar and the great scrolling ... how hard would it be to hide the scroll bar?

Yes, Gmail was autoscrolling back to the top before for me too. It doesn't now, even if I open it in a Google Chrome with changed user-agent.

Btw, if you change it you can open just gmail.com and would be auto redirected.

Since snoshrk didn't, and I'd like to see this too, I've created issue #45.

Thanks TJ, this is the first I've been back on... nasty weather in the midwest playing havoc with my connection. ;-)

Just chiming in that this has been a mostly solid release. I ran into a nasty cpu bug that was only fixed though when I deleted Tear Bookmarks. Not sure what that was about but since then this browser has been oretty great to me and I plan on gettng even better use out of it. Thanks.

Hmmm.. I have a feeling this came from an unclosed sqlite database connection. I tried to avoid this as much as possible, but I might have missed something. I'll look into it, thanks!

@GeraldKo
Weird! With that link, I noticed problems scrolling. However, I have been going to http://mail.google.com and it seems to work without incident. This is of course using the spoof string recommended by you.

YARR!

andrewfblack is shutting down maemobox.org , and so my repository with the newest version of tear is going to disappear. Sorry folks.

EDIT: The repository is dead; long live the repository! See below for more details.

I'm thinking of getting it to extras-devel soon, so no problem
