I also wish there was a big easy 'mark topics read' button at the top. It would speed things up. (Now I can't even find it in the drop-down menu.. it was there the previous time I hit 'new posts'. Anyway, a big button at the top (not in a menu) would be best.)

It's under the 'Quick Links' menu at the right.

Also clicking the number of replies to get to the latest one really isn't intuitive in the slightest. It should at least be hinted at in some way.

The design is very nice otherwise.
I also miss that feature in the main forum page

Congratulation for the new look

There is actually a slight indicator. When viewing a forum category for example, titles in bold indicate that a new post has been made on that thread which you haven't read.

I'll try to think of a way on improving this.

Thanks.

I'm using the same browser I was using before, but now when I hit the up and down arrows the reply box doesn't change size. Maybe some javascript changed?

I'm lovin' the speed!

One last thing, in Minimalistic mode, there's no "today's posts" option in the quick menu. This causes a vortex-like behaviour because there doesn't seem to be a simple way to see old threads easily. They "disapear."

Thanks for the great work.

I know, but Quick Links didn't come up under the Talk Menu the second time I clicked new posts (the other links were there), it came up the third time though.

Still, it would be just so much faster to have that particular function available directly, and not in a pull-down menu.

I hope everyone who's suggesting changes to the actual theme (aside from honing the current/new one to better fit screen resolutions, etc.) keeps in mind that the whole point of changing/updating the theme is so that it matches its new "parent" site, maemo.org.

Having options for different themes is well and good, but remember that it will "break" cohesiveness with maemo.org -- especially if you come here from the Talk button on the main navigation bar.

Options are good -- especially for smaller screens and low data throughput -- but disjointing usability is not.

@Tim

I agree, keep the consistency, but just inverse some colors and give us a "Dark Side" version. For all of maemo.org. I've seen the avatar work you did for qole, so I'm sure you can make these changes in your sleep.

I must be blind, but I don't see links to my all-important "User Control Panel" that I practically live on. It has my private messages, all of my subscribed threads, and my subscribed forums on one page. I can still get there, from this link, but it looks a bit weird (first thread isn't formatted correctly) and there doesn't seem to be any link to it within the forum anymore...
