No sweat, this is a GUI, you can use the symbol command, very carefully.

Make one block your source folder, and another block as your destination folder,
you have to see both folder upfront
then highlite the source file, and click the 1st symbol between two bloack, (these are command symbols), like 2 white page on top of each other,
this will duplicate the source file to your destination folder
the 2nd icon below will move the source file to destination folder

how is it going, so far

I am about to leave for my trip, I will continue when some mrs want to go bathroom.....

so far so good,

You should be all set to try.

Once you have the .prcs in the /PALM/laucher, you do not have to install, just click, it will run
and a crash would NOT wipe it out, as it is in the SD card

Will continue later........

I got it, you need to be root
somehow install rootsh, yes, very safe, somewhere in your app manager list, just click it and install, it will allow you to gain root

then,
xterm
sudo gainroot
emelfm2

now your emelfm2 will have permission to copy to folders requiring root permsion

1) make sure your destination folder is correct, as the pic may only show part of your path
2) if in doubt, use copy instead of move

no. open emelfm2 under xterm after you have gainroot, then command you issue in emelfm2 is with root permission

chakli, do not feel bad/embarass/frustrate about these conversations. Seach in these forum for bunanson for my early postings about almost anything, will make anybody chukle! It is a learning process, very rewarding and very enjoying.............
